Nordberg earns Summit League Indoor All-League honors

Sophomore distance runner earns first career honor in track & field after third place finish
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Sophomore Caden Nordberg represented St. Thomas men's track & field as an all-league performer, the Summit League office announced Tuesday.
Athletes that place among the top three individually or on a top-three relay get All-Summit League distinction.
Nordberg, a sophomore from St. Michael, Minn., was the lone honoree for the Tommies. He finished third in the mile to earn six team points. Nordberg set the indoor program record in the event with a time of 4:10.17, improving on his time from a season ago by over seven seconds. He was an all-conference honoree in cross country in fall 2023.
The St. Thomas men's and women's track & field programs will take a period of rest before returning to action for the outdoor season in late March. The full 2024 outdoor schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
