Softball head coach Jen Trotter Announces prospect camp and skills academy schedule

St. Paul, Minn. -- St. Thomas Head Coach Jen Trotter has announced their upcoming prospect camp schedule as well as a weekly skills academy schedule.
The prospect camps will be held on August 27 and September 17. The camps are open to girls in grades 7-12 and also include an additional pitching session.
New this fall will be a six-week skills academy offering a small-group one-hour session covering pitching and hitting. Space is limited to assure for a 6:1 ratio to give attention to individual needs. Each week will have a singular focus to assist the participants on skill acquisition as well as addressing individual needs. The pitching session will be led by head coach Jen Trotter, assistant coaches Jen Walter and Nat Wagner will lead the hitting session. Dates of the academy are September 11, 18, 25 and October 4, 9, 16. All sessions are held on the University of St. Thomas softball field on South Campus.

Coach Trotter begins her third season at St. Thomas after a successful 20-year head coaching stint at Missouri Western State University where she recorded 676 career wins and a 676-404 overall record. In her first two seasons at St. Thomas she has produced two Summit League Freshmen of the Year and has guided the Tommies to a fifth and sixth place finish in the conference standings.
