Reighard makes 400 hurdles finals for Women's T&F

Tulsa, Okla. - Senior Molly Reighard has qualified for Saturday's finals in the 400 hurdles to lead Tommie Women's Track and Field on Friday's second day of the three-day 2022 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Reighard clocked 62.01, sixth best out of 14 in the prelims. Eight advance to the finals.
Four Toms placed ninth or 10th in finals events on Friday and just missed scoring team points:
The Tommies remain at three team points after Thursday's sixth-place finish in the 10,000 by Olivia Moll. North Dakota State (110) and South Dakota (80) lead the pack with 13 events left to score. North Dakota (63), South Dakota State (36), Oral Roberts (13), Omaha (four), St. Thomas (three) and Western Illinois (three) round out the team race,
The Purple will look to add points Saturday in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays; and individually with Reighard in the 400 hurdles; Moll in the 5,000; and possible points in the shot put, pole vault and triple jump.
Other St. Thomas women who competed in Friday's prelims and had top-12 times on the prelim session were:

- freshman Hailey Shimon took 10th in the discus in a career-best 140-8;
- freshman Ava Pankratz (12:08.95) and Morgan Ede (12:13.42) placed 9-10 in the steeplechase.

- Carly Scheuerman had a season-best 2:16.38, the 14th-best time in the 800
- freshman Hailey Hindt ran 65.06 in the 400 hurdles, the 11th-best time
