Summit League Championship awaits Men's Golf

St. Paul, Minn. - St. Thomas Men's Golf ends its inaugural Division I season at The Summit League Men's Golf Championship in Newton, Kan. on May 1-3.
 
The Course
Sand Creek Station Golf Club features a course covering 7,086 yards with a Par 72. The teams will play 54 holes over three rounds at the event.
 
History at the Summit League Championships
This will be the first time that St. Thomas has competed at The Summit League Men's Golf Championship as the team is in its first year competing in the conference.
 
Looking at the Lineup
The Tommies will line up with Matthew Armstrong, Cole Nasby, Jack Nasby, Matthew Garside, and Ben Frazzini.
 
Last Time Out
The Tommies picked up a first-place finish over South Dakota in the Duel at Dacotah in Morton, Minn. on April 22. The Tommies had all four of the top four finishers, including Garside, who was +8 par in the top finish among all golfers.
 
Speaking of the Summit
St. Thomas concluded its first season in the Summit League sixth in scoring average (269.9), finishing ahead of Omaha, South Dakota, Western Illinois, and North Dakota. Against those four programs this season, the Tommies were 11-1-0 when competing at mutual events.
