Brookings, S.D. - St. Thomas softball (12-33, 7-11 Summit League) suffered a 5-0 loss at South Dakota State (34-10, 15-2 Summit League) on Friday.
The Tommie offense was limited to just one baserunner as freshman pitcher Christina Crawford worked a walk early in the contest.
Crawford also received the starting nod and allowed five earned runs spread across six frames of work. In the loss, the newcomer righty struck out three Jackrabbits.
