Women's Tennis Falls to Stetson 4-0 in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. – The St. Thomas Women's Tennis Team fell to Stetson on Tuesday by a score of 4-0.
"It was a tough day on the job against a tough team," said Head Coach Lois Arterberry. "We had a good showing from Maddi and Abby Bremel in doubles, but they didn't get the chance to finish due to clinching. Jannah played a really competitive set that slipped away from her at the end."
In singles action, freshman Schrichandrakala Tentu fell by scores of 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 2 line, sophomore Nicole Snezhko fell in the No. 3 spot, 6-0, 6-0 and senior Brooke Hapuku fell in the No. 5 spot by scores of 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles action, Hapuku and Snezhko fell in the No. 1 doubles spot, 6-2. In the No. 2 spot, the sophomore duo of Jannah El Nemr and Monterey Knewtson lost 6-0.
"Tomorrow we will compete against Trinity ans we are looking forward to having a competitive match against them," Arterberry added.
The Tommies return to action tomorrow morning at 6:30 p.m. as they face Trinity in Orlando.
