Pocatello, Idaho -- The scoring trio of Ahjany Lee, Riley Miller and Andrew Rohde combined for 48 points as St. Thomas Men's Basketball took down Idaho State, 76-70, in Pocatello, Idaho. Miller and Rohde each led the Tommies with 19 points each to improve the team to 8-4 this season.

After trailing 3-7, St. Thomas put together a 7-0 run as one of seven lead changes through the first eight minutes. Back-to-back 3-pointers from Riley Miller started a 12-2 run for the Tommies to take a 24-19 lead. Following back-to-back scores by Idaho State, St. Thomas went on another run of 12-0 for its largest lead of the game, 36-24, with 2:29 before halftime.

The Tommies' lead was drawn down to six heading into the second half and shrunk to two less than three minutes into the second half. Ahjany Lee put in his final basket of the game to start a 6-0 Tommie run before the Bengals fought back to within two again, 51-49.

Rohde drove the baseline for a dunk to spark a 7-0 run and a 58-49 lead that grew to 12 seven minutes later. Despite making only one field goal over the final 4:14 of play, the Tommies sank 12-of-13 free throws to seal the game.

Rohde led the Tommies in scoring for the seventh time this season while Miller led for the fifth time. Rohde went 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 on free throws, and chipped in four assists, three rebounds and two steals. After sinking three 3-pointers within the first eight minutes, Miller finished the game shooting 10-of-10 from the free throw line.

Lee recorded double-digit scoring for the second time this season with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting in 17 minutes. Courtney Brown, Jr., came off the bench with eight points and led the team with six rebounds, his third game this season with six boards.

The Tommies shot 50 percent from the field and 47 percent from 3-point range, which is the seventh of their eight wins to shoot at least 50 percent overall and 40 percent from long range. St. Thomas was outrebounded, 33-24, but sank 18-of-19 free throws.

St. Thomas will next host Green Bay at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 for the non-conference finale.
