The Tommies continue a busy stretch with next weekend's trip to Chicago
Late goals sting in 2-1 Men's Soccer loss

The University of Incarnate Word scored the tying and go-ahead goals in the 81st and 83 minutes to record a 2-1 comeback victory over St. Thomas in non-conference men's soccer play Sunday evening in Houston, Texas.
The Tommies (0-2) scored their first goal of the young season in the 38th minute as sophomore Caden McLagan beat the keeper to the lower right for a 1-0 lead. It was McLagan's first collegiate goal.
The Cardinals struck back to score two goals in a 2:07 span during the game's last 10:00, then held off St. Thomas' final push. Over the last 6:00 on the clock, the Toms' Stu Sain and Jack Barry had shots that went high and wide, respectively.
Niklas Martensson had two saves in goal for St. Thomas. Both teams recorded an identical 17 shots and with seven corner kicks on the contest.
The Purple are scheduled to play three games in a five-day span starting this Thursday at DePaul University (3 p.m.). The Toms also play at Northern Illinois next Saturday (3 p.m.), and open their home season Sept. 7 at South Field against Drake (4 p.m.).
