Men's Tennis wins another thriller, 5-4 over Scots

For the second time this season, Tommie Men's Tennis posted a hard-fought 5-4 victory. On Thursday night at Macalester, St. Thomas pulled out a 5-4 win over the Scots to move to 7-1 on the conference season, thanks to Myles Krzewinski's three-set comeback singles victory.
Tristan Fjelstad and Anshul Bharath won in singles and doubles for the Purple, whose lone loss in conference play so far is to Carleton. They previously beat Cathage in a 5-4 decision. The Toms' 9-5 record incudes three losses to Division I teams.
St. Thomas closes the regular season Saturday against unbeaten and first-place Gustavus -- that match has been moved to the Baseline courts at the University of Minnesota.
"This was our second win like this for the year," Tommie coach Ken Cychosz said. "We have a lot of winners on this team, guys who are not afraid of the big moment."
