Volleyball's Levendoski, Anetipa get MIAC weekly honors

St. Thomas Volleyball swept the MIAC's Athlete of the Week honors Monday for that sport.
Sophomore MB Selena Levendoski hit .417 and averaged nearly four kills a set in two Tommie wins last week. She had 21 kills and hit .432 in a 3-1 comeback win over St. Mary's. The Clear Lake, Wis., native has 403 kills in 40 career matches and is hitting at .268.
Junior setter Grace Anetipa averaged more than 11 assists and three digs per set in seven total sets to help the Tommies go 2-0 on the week. Her 56 assists and 12 digs helped the Toms outlast St. Mary's. The Toms are 33-7 since the Cretin-Derham Hall grad took over as starting setter in fall 2019.
St. Thomas close out a condensed spring schedule with a 3-2 match record. They also were able to play a couple of scrimmages and Coach Thanh Pham was able to evaluate his roster as he prepares for a move to Division I and the Summit League in fall 2021
