Men's Tennis shows grit in opening loss at North Dakota

Division I North Dakota moved to 7-2 on the season with Friday's 7-0 defeat of St. Thomas in men's tennis play at Choice Health and Fitness in Grand Forks.
The Toms battled to 6-4 losses at first and second doubles, and competed hard in singles. Newcomers who had good debuts for the Purple include Frank Stich, Lennart Buhl and Aasish Bharath.
St. Thomas plays Sunday in Kenosha, Wis., against Carthage College.
