Tyler Adler had a top-10 season performance on the national list in the long jump to lead Tommie Men's Track and Field in Friday's home dual meet against Hamline in Anderson Fieldhouse. The Toms won 12 of 14 events, and no team scores were kept.
Adler leaped 22-9 1-4 to match teammate Kaleb Kenner's season best, and both marks rank in the top 10 in Division III.
Tyler Cullen had a top-25 D-III season mark to win the pole vault (14-1 1-4).
Sophomore Joe Hueg competed unattached and won the weight throw in a career-best 58-5 1-4. Only two D-III athletes have thrown farther this season.
Eric Douville won the 60 (7.09) and the 200 (22.56). Evan Teynor won the 55 hurdles (7.95) and 60 hurdles (8.57) and anchored the winning 4x400 relay with Adler, Drew Probst and Cullen.
Other Tommie winners were Morey Smith in the mile (4:20.47); Mason Thedens in the 400 (52.16); Rowen Abbas in the 800 (2:00.11); and Mac Karrick in the 5,000 (15:51.29).
The Toms are home next Friday to face Gustavus.
