Summit League announces 2022 conference-only spring slates

Sioux Falls, S.D. - The official 2022 conference-only Summit League schedules have been announced for the spring sports of baseball, softball, and women's tennis, the league announced today.
 
St. Thomas will embark on its first Summit League spring season after officially joining the league on Thursday, July 1, 2021. The Tommies will only be eligible to compete in the regular season for these sports. The Tommies will face newly-affiliated Northern Colorado in the sport of baseball in 2022.
 
The Summit League baseball schedule will be comprised of eight, three-game series beginning the weekend of March 18-20. The League's seven teams will play the remaining six programs once with each team also having two designated teams to play twice during the season until its conclusion on Saturday, May 21.
 
The Summit League softball schedule will be played over the course of seven weekends beginning with the weekend of March 26-27 with doubleheaders in day one of each series. The eight teams will play at least one league opponent for seven consecutive weekends until the conclusion of the season on Saturday, May 7.
 
The seven-match Summit League women's tennis league schedule will kick off on March 5 and will run through April 16. Teams will play each other once each Saturday during the league campaign.
