St. Thomas Men's Hockey recorded five goals from five different players in Saturday night's 5-4 home, non-conference win over Northland College.

The Tommies (8-6-1) never trailed and ended a four-game home-ice losing streak.

Colton Berg, Alex Trapp and Brett Gravelle scored in a 6:26 span of period one for a 3-0 lead. Justin Kelley and Jack Vincent scored second-period goals as the Toms built a 5-2 lead.

Northland scored two goals 1:14 apart early in period three to climb within 5-4. But the Tommies held off the Lumberjacks over the final 12:00 on the clock to lock down the victory.

Vincent had two assists for a three-point night. For Gravelle, his goal was his first in his last seven games. He now has 95 points (46 goals) in 89 career games.

Henry Baribeau posted 26 saves in goal for the Purple.

Cole Woodliffe scored two goals for Northland (4-13-1), which has eight losses by one or two goals.

St. Thomas is home Sunday for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest against UW-Superior. The Yellowjackets (12-2-2) are ranked No. 11 and have an eight-game unbeaten streak after Saturday's 3-3 road tie at Gustavus.
