Women's Soccer moves to 3-0 with another shutout win

Freshman Callie Haertle scored the game's only goal in the 47th minute as No. 19-ranked Tommie Women's Soccer edged Fontbonne (Mo.), 1-0 Sunday in non-conference play in St. Louis.
The Toms (3-0) shutout both teams on their trip to St. Louis, using two different keepers. That including an overtime road win Saturday over No. 3-ranked Washington (Mo.) with Sarah Pasternak, and Olivia Elvidge in goal on Sunday.
The Toms posted a 9-1 advantage in shots and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks againt Fontbonne.
St. Thomas plays at home Sept. 17 against Gustavus in the conference opener.
