St. Thomas got points from all 15 players and broke a school record by making 16 3-pointers in Monday's 100-48 MIAC men's basketball road win at St. Mary's.

The Tommies (11-8 overall, 9-5 MIAC), who received 66 bench points, moved into a three-way tied for third place, one half game out of second.

The Toms outscored the Cardinals 48-3 from behind the arc, as nine different UST players sank at least one. UST's previous record was 15 made treys recorded twice in the 2012-13 season -- at St. Olaf, and against Williams in the national quarterfinals.

UST scored the last six points of the first half to build a 41-29 lead. The Toms pulled away with a 39-3 run over the first 11:30 of the second half.

Tyler Potts, Connor Bair and Michael Hannon each scored 11 points, and Thomas Madison scored 10. UST shot 62 percent from the field in the second half and 53 percent on the game, including 16-of-36 from behind the arc.
