Tommie men's tennis dropped a 5-0 decision at top-seed and No. 16-ranked Gustavus in an MIAC playoff semifinal match Thursday in St. Peter.
The match was halted after the Gusties secured the five points needed.
Gustavus will face second-seed Carleton in Saturday's playoff finals.
UST's Matt Kavanagh and freshman Ben Wait were in a good battle at third doubles before losing 8-4 to Gustavus' Connor Shives and Mitch Elofson.
St. Thomas (11-6 overall) will potentially return eight top players next season. It had six losses on the season, including 8-1 and 5-0 defeats to the Gusties; and 5-4 decisions to both Carleton and Southeastern (Fla.).
