No. 13-ranked Tommie softball won three games on Monday, one in comeback, walkoff fashion, to move to 12-2 in Florida and 14-2 overall.
No. 2-ranked Tommie baseball took its first loss and finished 5-1 in Tucson, Ariz. UST was tied 4-4 midway through the game but lost 13-7 to Southwestern (Tex.).
Softball topped Concordia (Wis.), 12-5, as Bianca Peterson had her fifth home run of the season; scored three in the bottom of the seventh to edge UW-Stout, 4-3; and topped Hamilton (N.Y.), 7-3. It's the second day in a row UST played three varsity games and won all three.
The Toms close their trip with Tuesday with morning games against Greenville and Stevenson. UST scored a 5-3 victory over Stevenson.
