St. Thomas travels to Collegeville Monday night to face archrival St. John's in MIAC men's basketball play. The varsity game starts at 7:30 p.m.
The No. 11-ranked Tommies (12-2 overall, 9-0 MIAC) have a two-game lead atop the MIAC standings over second-place St. Olaf. They have won 19 consecutive games against MIAC opponents since losing last January 54-52 at Concordia-Moorhead. St. Thomas is 6-0 in January games.
The Johnnies (6-8, 4-5) are getting healthy again after some December abscences, and are expoected to be in the MIAC playoff chase the rest of the season.
