Women's Soccer
St. Thomas (2-1) plays its first road games of the season and has tough tests Saturday at No. 1-ranked and 3-0 Wheaton (Ill.) at 1 p.m., and Sunday at 3-1 University of Chicago at 2 p.m., which was previously ranked 15th nationally. The Tommies have not allowed a first-half goal in their last seven games, dating back to last season.
Men's Golf
No. 18-ranked St. Thomas will see a couple of top-25 teams at the Saturday-Sunday St. John's Fall Classic played in Sauk Centre and Sartell. The Tommies placed fourth out of 27 teams at the Midwest Region Fall Classic last Sunday and Monday at Wisconsin Dells.
Women's Golf
The Tommie women have won two multi-team tournaments to start their fall season. They will look to contend for a third this weekend at the D3 Classic tournament at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City. Nine MIAC teams will be joined by three from Wisconsin and three from Iowa.
Women's Cross Country
The Tommies have their first race against outside competition on Saturday when they travel to across the border for the 10 a.m. UW-River Falls Invite. Five sophomores and several freshmen are expected to lead the way this season in Coach Joe Sweeney's 34th season.
