The Tommie women's basketball team (20-1 overall, 18-0 MIAC) plays at home Wednesday night vs. St. Catherine (1-20, 0-18) in a game that will have a live video webcast. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. in Schoenecker Arena.
UST topped the Wildcats 91-47 five weeks ago in the season's first meeting.
No. 15-ranked St. Thomas (20-1 overall, 18-0 MIAC) can secure the playoff top seed and lock up at least a share of the championship with a victory. UST has a three-game lead in the conference race with four games to play.
The Tommies are allowing less than 49 points a game in their 18-0 MIAC start. They also are on school-record pace for free-throw proficiency at .767

Men's Basketball
The second-place Tommie men's basketball team (15-6 overall, 12-4 MIAC) has a bye Wednesday and then plays four games in the final eight days of the season. The Toms are home Saturday (Concordia-Moorhead, 3 p.m.) and next Monday (Carleton, 7:30 p.m.).
