The first-place Tommie basketball teams swept Concordia in Saturday road games in Moorhead.
The Tommie women used Kelly Brandenburg's basket with seven seconds to go to edge the Cobbers, 49-48. UST (12-1 overall, 10-0 MIAC) used a 7-2 game-closing run to rally to victory. Brandenburg led the Tommies with 12 points.

The UST men pulled away late to top the Cobbers, 76-62. The game was tied 45-45 before uncorked an 18-7 run in the next 7:22. St. Thomas (10-3 overall, 7-1 MIAc) shot 51% from the floor and had only seven turnovers. Will DeBerg scored 15 and John Nance tallied 14 for the Toms.
