The No. 12-ranked Tommies (13-2 overall, 3-0 MIAC) recorded a 3-1 volleyball victory on the road Friday night at St. Ben's (9-6, 2-1). UST won 31-29, 25-14, 17-25, 25-19.
For UST, freshman Jill Greenfield had 17 kills and 16 digs; senior Taylor Cross had 16 kills and hit .481; freshman Kelly Foley had 10 kills; senior Ashley Maher had 53 assists; junior libero Kaitlain Wachter added 26 digs; and KariAnne Nass had 11 digs and three aces.
St. Thomas plays next Wednesday night at Concordia-Moorhead.
The Tommies are now alone in first place with 3-0 Bethel.
