Senior RB Peter Ridley had his fourth consecutive 100-yard rushing game and Walter Dosh added three touchdowns as St. Thomas rolled to a 41-14 win over Hamline Saturday in MIAC football at O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
The Tommies (7-1 overall, 6-1 MIAC) capitalized on six Piper turnovers and scored 35 unanswered points to run their winning streak to six games. UST stayed alive in the chase for one of three NCAA at-large playoff berths, although its MIAC title share hopes ended with Concordia's big win at St. Olaf.
St. Thomas plays at St. John's next Saturday and will either share second place or finish in second alone. With a victory the Tommies can post their best record since 1973.
