Ganser saw four Tommies earn selections to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team in Ellie Dammann, Lauren Galvin, Claire Ricard and Carrie Rutledge.
Ganser most recently spent five years at Minnesota (2011-16), including the final three seasons serving as Assistant Director of Volleyball Operations. During his final three seasons, the Gophers compiled a 78-22 record and won the program's second Big Ten title ever during the 2015 season. Minnesota advanced to the NCAA Tournament Semifinals and was undefeated at home during the regular season in both 2015 and 2016.
Before joining Minnesota, Ganser was the head men's (2008-10) and women's (2006-10) volleyball coach at Hannibal-LaGrange University. He was named the 2010 American Midwest Conference Coach of the Year as he coached the women's team to its first-ever winning season (19-12). During his five years as the women's coach, he coached two Midwest All-Region players, three first-team American Midwest All-Conference honorees and seven academic All-Americans. In taking over the men's program, Ganser coached the team to a No. 10 national ranking in just the second year of the program's existence in 2010. During the two-year span, Ganser coached one first-team All-MAMVIC selection.
