In 2014 CC season, placed 25th at the MIAC meet, 37th at Regions, 198th at the NCAA Championships. Academic All-MIAC team, All-MIAC Honorable Mention.
Qualified for the WIAA State meet in the 400m by placing 3rd in the Oshkosh sectional with a personal best time 59.43. Also qualified as a member of the 4x800m relay team in both her sophomore and senior years. Fox River Classic Conference Champion in the 800m as a senior with personal best 2:17.2. Placed 4th at the WTFA State Indoor Championships in the 800m (2:20.33).
Did not compete in cross country in high school. Was a four-year varsity swimmer and named swim team captain her junior and senior years while at Sheboygan North. Qualified for WIAA State Championships in the 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, and 200 Medley Relay in 2009, 2010, and 2011. First team FRCC All-Conference (2009) and Second Team All-Conference (2010). Was named Best Freshman Swimmer of the year in 2008.
Personal: Majoring in Economics....Parents are Jerry and Jane Gapinski. Member of the National Honor Society. Member of the Financial Management Association (FMA) and Special Olympics Club at St. Thomas. Never competed in cross country before coming to college.
