At Green Bay Notre Dame HS:
Four-time WIAA Division 2 State Qualifier in Cross Country, placed as high as 28th at State in 2009. Was cross country sectional champion in 2009 & 2010. Qualfied for the WIAA State Championships in track three years in the 1600m relay. Member of WIAA Team State Championship team in 2010....ran in three events at the state meet (3200m relay - 2nd place, 1600m relay - 6th place, 800m relay - 10th place). Member of the 1600m relay that placed 2nd at State in 2012 and 6th in 2011. Was a three-year captain of the cross country team and track captain her senior year.

Personal: Major is undecided. Parents are Craig and Mary Mares....has two brothers John and Patrick. Member of National Honor Society. Three time Academic All-Conference in Cross Country. Finished in top ten of high school class.
