St. Thomas Softball Highlights So Far:
Our practices and workouts are both physically and mentally strengthening my game to prepare me to be successful and ready to compete. Being a freshman, it’s challenging, intense and an exciting experience, but these teammates are so supportive, welcoming and ready to help get you better both on and off the field. This team is special, and my season highlight is to be playing with these amazing women, and proud to be wearing the St. Thomas Crest.
Why Did You Choose St. Thomas?
When I visited St. Thomas the atmosphere was awesome and I knew the academics would be challenging, but rewarding! The community here is so welcoming, upbeat, and fun! It just felt right even though 20 below and shoveling snow was something new for this Oregonian!
Academic Major: Business / Sport Marketing
Career Goal: I would like to pursue a career in Marketing, ideally for a Professional Sports Team. Being from Oregon, I am very passionate about Nike so a career in their marketing department would be an outstanding opportunity as well.
High School Highlights:
Jesuit High School Varsity letter in Softball 2016-2019, All State Second Team infield 2018-2019, Metro League First Team 2016 – 2019 infield / outfield, Metro League All Star Academic Team 2016 -2019, Oregon 6A Softball State Champion 2016.
I would say one of my high school highlights was during my junior year in the quarterfinals when we played our rival school the Westview wildcats. It was the 7th inning with a runner at second and we were down by one. I was at the plate with a 2-1 count, when I hit a bomb over the right field fence to end the game with a win over one of our biggest rivals!
Fun Fact: Love to be stay fit and healthy. Traveling to the beach is one of my favorite places to hang out with my friends and family!
