Chelsey's 2025-26 Sport Assignments: Men's Soccer, Softball

Chelsey Bruns joined the St. Thomas Athletic Training staff in 2022 and serves as the Certified Athletic Trainer for men's soccer and softball.
Along with the entire UST Athletic Training Staff, Bruns provides services to St. Thomas student-athletes through its partnership with Twin Cities Orthopedics.
Bruns comes to St. Thomas from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she worked with Men’s & Women’s Track and Field, Cross Country. In her time with UMN, Bruns worked with Division I athletes competing in the Big Ten and on the national stage.
Bruns recently completed her doctorate in Education at Illinois State University with an emphasis in athletic training and higher education. During her time at Illinois State, she worked in intercollegiate athletics and taught courses in the athletic training education program.
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Bruns graduated from Loras College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training.
