Brady recruits Iowa and the Kansas City Metro area

The 2020 season will be the first for Brady Grayvold coaching the Tommies’ defensive line, and his sixth season of coaching overall. He most recently was selected to attend the 2020 AFCA 35 Under-35 Coaches Leadership Institute, which is a prestigious program aimed at identifying and developing premier, future leaders in the football coaching profession.
Prior to coaching the Tommies, Grayvold was the head football coach at Fort Atkinson, Wis., High and an assistant at Sun Prairie, Wis., HS, where helped Sun Prairie reach the 2017 state championship game.
A native of Norway, Mich., Grayvold graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Secondary Education Social Studies. Playing his college football at UW-Whitewater, Grayvold:
- was a two-time national champion with Warhawk teams
- a Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete award winner
- Gagliardi Trophy semifinalist as Division III football's top player and citizen
- finalist for the Cliff Harris Award as college football's top DB
- multi-time first-team Division III All American
- a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame’s William V. Campbell Trophy
- earned membership to the NFF's Hampshire Honor Society for athletic and academic excellence;
- holds multiple team records in the defensive back field.
