Aaron Haigler joined the St. Thomas football coaching staff in March 2025. This will be his first season with the Tommies.
Haigler joins the St. Thomas staff as the offensive line coach after stints at Cal Lutheran and Florida International University (FIU). In his one season in California, Haigler oversaw the implementation of the run game, including all aspects of the offensive line. Haigler was responsible for recruiting, development, retention, and all game day operations for the Kingsman offensive line, which saw improvement in his one season with the program. The team improved in sacks allowed and total rush yards from 2023 to 2024 under Haigler's tutelage.
Prior to his time at Cal Lutheran, Haigler was a graduate assistant at FIU. In two seasons with the Panthers, Haigler oversaw the scout team defense and assisted with practice and game planning for the offensive line. He was also a signiticant part of FIU's recruiting process, serving in several roles throughout his tenure.
A 2018 graduate of the University of Colorado, Haigler was a member of both the Buff's football and track and field teams. A three-year starter, Haigler played 2083 snaps in his career and led Colorado to the 2016 Pac-12 South Championship. Additionally, he was a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic Team member and qualified for the confernece's indoor and outdoor track and field championships in 2018.
