Appeared in 11 games with seven starts on the mound, finishing with an overall record of 2-3 in 45.2 innings...earned one save throwing four strikeouts in 3.0 innings March 22 at Kansas State...led the Tommie pitching staff with a 4.73 ERA, which ranked eighth in the Summit League...also led the team with an opposing batting average of .234, which was third in the league, and was second for St. Thomas and 13th in the Summit with 48 strikeouts...named Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week after throwing five strikeouts over 6.0 scoreless innings against North Dakota State on April 15...compiled 20 strikeouts over back-to-back starts in April, including a career high 11 with only one run allowed at South Dakota State on April 24.

Son of Elizabeth and Dan Esch, three siblings, Isabel, Isaac and Alex... father is a St. Thomas graduate... cousin, Jake Esch, a right-handed pitcher, played on the Miami Marlins in 2016, the San Diego Padres in 2017, and signed with the St. Paul Saints before pitching for Great Britain in the 2023 World Baseball Classic... business real estate major... Dean's List honoree.
