Summit League announces Commissioner's List of Excellence

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The academic honors continue to roll in for the University of St. Thomas. After announcing its Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday, the Summit League shared its 2025-26 Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence honorees. In total, 171 Tommies received the prestigious honor, while St. Thomas took home the Team Academic Achievement Award for softball and women's tennis.
To be eligible for the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50+ cumulative grade point average (GPA). Additionally, student-athletes must complete one year of eligibility at an institution and completed three full semesters. First year transfers and true freshman are ineligible for this award.
In addition to 171 Tommie student-athletes earning the award, the St. Thomas softball and women's tennis programs took home the Team Academic Achievement Award Wednesday afternoon. The Team Academic Achievement Award looks to honor teams with a highest percentage of student-athletes on the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
