Yesterday, the University of St. Thomas officially launched the public phase of Be Brilliant. Be Bold. The Campaign for St. Thomas—the most ambitious fundraising campaign in our university's history.
The campaign celebrates the extraordinary momentum our community has built together while looking ahead to an even bolder future. It is an invitation to invest in the people, programs, and places that will shape St. Thomas for generations to come.
For Tommie Athletics, that future is powered by the Tommie Athletic Fund. When the Tommie Athletic Fund was introduced in 2020, it was created to support our bold move to Division I and provide the resources needed to build an exceptional student-athlete experience. Today, thanks to the generosity of alumni, parents, fans, and friends, that vision continues to come to life.
As we enter this exciting new chapter, the Tommie Athletic Fund remains committed to investing in the people and resources that position Tommie Athletics for sustained success—developing leaders, creating opportunities, and advancing the mission of the University of St. Thomas. That commitment will continue through three key areas: operational support, scholarships, and facilities.
Operational Support: The 1904 Club
Annual gifts through the 1904 Club provide the flexible resources that enhance the student-athlete experience every day—from academic support and wellness resources to leadership development, team travel, and emerging opportunities.
Scholarships
Scholarships are the University of St. Thomas' #1 fundraising priority. Athletic scholarship support helps attract exceptional student-athletes who excel in competition, academics, and their communities while preparing to become leaders beyond the playing field.
Facilities
Championship-caliber facilities create championship-caliber opportunities. The opening of Lee & Penny Anderson Arena marked a transformational moment for Tommie Athletics, and continued investment in facilities, training spaces, recovery, and technology will position our programs for continued success.
