St. Thomas, FOX9 announce 2026-27 broadcast schedule

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Vice President, Director of Athletics Dr. Phil Esten, KMSP FOX 9 and WFTC FOX 9+ Senior Vice President and General Manager Marian Davey announced the finalized broadcast schedule for Tommie athletics Monday. The local FOX networks will air 19 St. Thomas home events throughout the 2026-27 academic year, including several premium games in Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
"We are proud to continue to showcase Tommie Athletics and to provide the community with free broadcasts of their games," Davey said. "With the transition of Men's Hockey to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference this season, we're excited to air a larger slate of matchups featuring the Tommies competing against some of the best teams in the region."
In late-August, St. Thomas and FOX 9 announced an extension of its partnership to once again serve as the official TV broadcast home of Tommie football, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's hockey. On Monday, the two organizations announced the finalized TV schedule, which includes 19 broadcasts of select St. Thomas home events. The network will broadcast four Tommie home football games, five basketball games and 10 hockey games throughout 2026-27.
St. Thomas will make its 2026-27 FOX 9+ debut on Saturday, September 19 when Tommie football hosts Southern Utah in a nonconference showdown. St. Thomas' Pioneer Football League contests against San Diego, Davidson and Drake will also air on FOX 9+.
Men's hockey will officially hit the airwaves on October 9, the first of 10 Tommie hockey games airing on FOX 9 and FOX 9+ this upcoming year. In addition to airing on local networks, St. Thomas men's hockey games will also be featured both in the Midwest region and in national markets during select weekends.
Women's hockey will be showcased throughout November, and women's basketball will tip things off for the basketball programs when St. Thomas hosts Grand Canyon on December 10. Men's basketball will officially make its FOX 9+ season debut on January 7.
