Eliot Beaumale scored his first goal as a Tommie in style from distance
CHARLESTON, Ill. — The University of St. Thomas (1-1-2, 0-0-0) ended in a 1-1 draw with Eastern Illinois University (0-2-1, 0-0-0) on Sunday at Lakeside Field. The Tommies overcame a first-half deficit to earn the tie.
The first half commenced with the Tommies missing an early opportunity when Lorenzo Jacon's penalty kick was unsuccessful at the 2:50 mark. Despite creating multiple chances, including a corner kick and shots from Johann Joensen, the Purple could not find the net.
