Corris' goal was the first of season for the Purple
ST. PAUL, Minn. — The University of St. Thomas (0-1-1) played to a 1-1 draw against Green Bay (0-1-1) on Sunday at South Field. The Tommies recorded four shots on goal, finding the net once in the first half.
The first period commenced with St. Thomas establishing its presence early on. The home team capitalized at the 30:25 mark when Oliver Corris notched a goal with assists from Giovanni Agogliati and Rodrigo Salamanca Lopez, giving the Tommies a 1-0 advantage. Despite multiple fouls and a yellow card, they held their ground defensively, leading Green Bay 1-0 at the end of the half.
St. Thomas faced a challenging second frame as Green Bay equalized with a goal by Noah Radeke, assisted by Nathan Moua, at the 73:50 mark. The Tommies created opportunities to regain the lead, with notable attempts by Ednilson Voiles and Quentin Hauswald, both saved by Drew Swancutt. Despite their efforts, the home team was unable to break the deadlock. The period ended with a 1–1 tie, concluding the match with the same score.
