Coach Macdonald to take leave of absence
ST. PAUL, MINN.- The University of St. Thomas Athletic department announces that Head Women's Soccer Coach, Gretta Macdonald, will be taking a leave of absence for the 2026 season to care for a family member experiencing a health concern. Coach Macdonald will return to her role in November.
Assistant Coach, Becca Brandt, will serve as the acting head coach for the fall season.
The Tommies will kick off the 2026 season on Wednesday, August 12th against Marquette. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. at South Field.
