FRANKLIN, WIS.- The St. Thomas Tommie fell to the Milwaukee Panthers 9-8 in their midweek road matchup.
Lucas McNellis was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 RBIs to pace the offense.
Scoring Summary
Lucas McNellis got the Tommies on the board in the second with a solo home run off the left center light pole, his second of the season.
McNellis struck again in the third with an RBI single to score Tanner Recchio and another RBI single in the fifth, scoring Joe Roder.
Tanner Recchio picked up a two-out RBI single in the sixth, scoring Knowles and giving the Tommies a 4-0 lead. Easton Fritcher then tripled, scoring Recchio. Joe Roder then followed suit by bringing in Fritcher and giving the Tommies a 6-0 after six.
The Tommies tacked on two more in the seventh off of RBIs from Knowles and a Panther error.
The Panthers plated three in the seventh to make the score 8-3 Tommies. Milwaukee then tacked on six in the eighth to take a 9-8 lead.

The Tommies will head to Evanston, Illinois to take on the Northwestern Wildcats Wednesday, April 22nd. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
