Tommies picked to finish fourth in Summit League Preseason Poll

SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA – The University of St. Thomas men's swim and dive team was picked to finish fourth in the 2026-27 Summit League Preseason Poll. The Tommies, who finished fifth at the Summit League Championships last season, will open 2026-27 on Saturday, as they host Green Bay and Gustavus at Anderson Pool. The meet will start at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul, Minnesota.
ST. THOMAS SWIMMER TO WATCH:
Charlie Folks (Eden Prairie, Minn. / Eden Prairie)
- Qualified for 2025-26 CSCAA National Invitational Championship
- Finished top-10 in the 400 IM at the CSCAA National Invitational; program record holder in the 400 IM
- Finished top-10 at the Summit League Championships in the 500 and 1650 freestyle and the 400 IM
- 3x Summit League Academic Honor Roll moment (2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26)
ST. THOMAS DIVER TO WATCH:
Austin Kantor (Elk River, Minn. / Elk River)
- Part of the fifth place 3x100 relay diving team at the Summit League Championships
- Earned multiple top-3 finishes in both 1-meter and 3-meter competitions throughout 2025-26
- Swept the diving events vs. Green Bay in early October
- Placed top-5 in both 1-meter and 3-meter competitions against Omaha, St. Cloud, Minnesota and South Dakota
