Lehman scores lone Tommie goal
CHENEY, WASH.- The St. Thomas Tommies (2-3-1) fall 2-1 to the Eastern Washington Eagles (3-2-1). McKenna Lehman scored the lone Tommie goal in the 51st minute.

SCORING SUMMARY:
First Half: The Tommies defense was lights out in the first half keeping the game scoreless. Mackenzie Jacobson recorded the Tommies lone shot on goal in the 21st minute.
Second Half: Both teams came out aggressive to start the second half, but Tommie got on the board first in the 55th minute. McKenna Lehman hit the back of the net from outside the box to give St. Thomas the 1-0 lead. The Eagles scored the equalizer in the 58th minute to tie the game at one. EWU then scored again off a corner kick in the 84th minute to take the 2-1 lead.

McKenna Lehman (Lakeville, Minn) scored her first goal of the 2025 season.
Olivia Rowe (Anoka, Minn.) recorded five saves.

Head Coach Sheila McGill's thoughts on Thursday's loss:
" A 97 degree day and we ran out of energy quickly. We started to move the ball well in spurts and Kenna Lehman had a great shot to put the ball in the back of the net. Unfortunately, we need to be more disciplined on set pieces. Which is how they scored both of their goals. Liv Rowe was great again in goal making some huge saves!"
