VERMILLION, S.D.- St. Thomas (3-7-1) fell to the South Dakota Coyotes (5-4-4) 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Quick Hits
Both goals of the contest were scored with less than 10 minutes remaining in each half. Goal one was scored with 5 minutes left in the first and the second was scored with seven minutes remaining in the contest.
SCORING SUMMARY:
First Half: It was a defensive battle for the majority of the first half until the Coyotes scored off a corner kick at 40 minutes.
Second Half: South Dakota had a goal waived off in the 66th minute to keep the game 1-0 for the time being. The Coyotes then found the back of the net at 83 minutes to take a 2-0 lead.

St. Thomas will return to South Field for their home conference opener on Oct. 5th. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. CT.
