Although NIU produced 15 shots throughout the contest, goalkeeper Olvia Rowe and the defense stood strong and held the Huskies without a goal. Rowe ended the match with three saves.

Olivia Rowe, Sofia Englund, Sydney Kubes, Izzy McEwan, and Brooke Nygaard played all 90 minutes of the contest.

Scouting the Panthers
The Panthers finished the 2024 season 9-6-4, 4-3-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference. They have started out the 2025 season 1-1-1, the same record as the Tommies.

UNI opened the season with a 1-1 tie against South Dakota, a 4-0 loss to Milwaukee, and most recently a 4-0 win over Western Illinois. The Panthers did not allow a single shot on goal in their win of Western Illinois.

Northern Iowa is led by interim head coach Alex Place Thomas.

This is the fifth time in Tommie program history that these two teams will face off. The Purple is 1-2-1 against the Panthers.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles finished the 2024 season 6-11-3, 3-6-1 in the Big East. They currently sit 3-1 in 2025. Marquette began the 2025 season on a three-game win streak, with wins over Northern Illinois, North Dakota State, and Milwaukee. They most recently fell 2-1 to Wisconsin.

Marquette did not allow a goal until the fourth game of the season, when they allowed two in the loss to Wisconsin.

The Golden Eagles are led by second-year head coach Chris Allen.

This is also the fifth time these two programs have faced in history. The Tommies are looking for their first win over the Golden Eagles as they are 0-3-1.
