Pauly to run 5000m at USATF U20 Championships on Thursday

Freshman distance runner holds program’s seventh fastest 5000m time
EUGENE, Ore. -- St. Thomas women's track & field program will be represented at the 2025 USA Track & Field (USATF) U20 Championships by freshman distance runner Olivia Pauly.
Pauly, a native of St. Cloud, Minn., travels for the championships in Eugene, Ore., with the 5,000-meter run scheduled as the first event at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 19.
Pauly ran St. Thomas track & field's seventh fastest time ever in the 5000m run this past outdoor season. She placed 11th in the event at the Drake Relays with a time of 17:16.82, which ranked 16th in the Summit League this season. The freshman placed 12th in the 5000m during the 2025 Summit League Outdoor Championships.
Hayward Field, on the campus of the University of Oregon, hosts the USATF U20 Championships for the fourth consecutive year and eighth time since 2009. Click here to view live results.
