Three Tommies named to NFCA All-Region Teams

For the first time in program history, Ella Cook, Avery Wukawitz, and Ava Kleinfeldt received All-Region honors
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced 380 student-athletes from 146 programs across the country have received 2025 NFCA Division I All-Region accolades. Three of those athletes are Ella Cook (First Team), Avery Wukawitz (Second Team), and Ava Kleinfeldt (Third Team), the first three Tommies to be named All-Region in the DI era.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second, and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each representative region nominated student-athletes and voted for the teams. All awarded student-athletes now become eligible for the 2025 NFCA Division I All-America squads.
St. Thomas is a member of the Midwest Region that includes teams like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Mizzou, Creighton, Iowa, and Iowa State, among many others. The Tommies finished with one more selection than any other Summit League team. The Omaha Mavericks had a pair selected (First team and third team) in the Midwest Region and South Dakota State had one (First team) in the Mountain Region.
