Tennis drops Sunday match to Boise State

Tentu picks up win in singles play in 6-1 loss to Broncos
MINNEAPOLIS -- The St. Thomas tennis team hosted the Boise State Broncos in the first meeting between the two squads. Boise State picked up the point in doubles action, adding five wins in singles competition to defeat the Tommies 6-1.
Shrichandrakala Tentu defeated Masa Viriant of the Broncos (6-2, 2-6, 10-6), earning the Tommies' sole win in singles play. Tentu has now moved to 7-1 in singles action on the season.
In the No. 4 singles spot, Jannah ElNemr fell in set one 3-6, but flipped the script to win 7-6 in set two. However, Paula Schaefer of Boise State defeated ElNemr in a back-and-forth third set, 10-7.
