Tentu and Olson win singles, doubles matches against the Golden Eagles
MARQUETTE, Wis. -- The St. Thomas tennis team traveled to Wisconsin, playing Marquette in a Friday evening match. In the second match between the two teams, the Tommies defeated the Golden Eagles 4-3.
St. Thomas started the match by earning the point in doubles play. The duos of Marthe Degeorges and Regina Talavera (7-5), and Shrichandrakala Tentu and Lily Olson (6-2) posted wins for the Tommies.
In the no. 4 singles spot, Jannah ElNemr won her solo match, as Tentu and Olson remained undefeated on Friday, picking up their second win of the day in singles action. In three sets, Tentu clinched the 4-3 victory for St. Thoms over the Golden Eagles.
