Tommie Basketball to be featured on CBS Sports Network twice in 2025-26

St. Thomas to host Kansas City, face South Dakota State in back-to-back network airings
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- St. Thomas Men's Basketball will again be exclusively broadcast on the CBS Sports Network as its Feb. 1 matchup against Kansas City and Feb. 4 game at South Dakota State were announced as part of the league's seven-game lineup for men's basketball on the network.
The Summit League preseason favorite Tommies will host the Roos with a 1 p.m. tip-off on Sunday, Feb. 1, the ninth meeting between the two programs all-time. The Purple have won five straight in the series, including a 68-65 win in Kansas City, Mo., and a 65-59 win in St. Paul last season to close out the program's tenure at Schoenecker Arena.
Three days later, St. Thomas will head on the road to face South Dakota State at 6 p.m. in Brookings, S.D. The Tommies split the 2024-25 season series with the Jackrabbits, earning a 73-72 win at home before a 102-86 loss to the Jackrabbits on the road. The Purple are still in search of their first win in Brookings since joining the Summit League.
Last season, St. Thomas hosted North Dakota State on Feb. 2, which was the featured game on CBS Sports Network. The Tommies came away with a 79-62 victory before again being featured on the CBS Sports Network for the Summit League Semifinal and Championship games of postseason play.
This season, the Feb. 1 CBS Sports Network game will be broadcast inside the new Lee & Penny Anderson Arena, which is set to open Saturday, Nov. 8 with the team's home opener against Army at 7 p.m. The 2025-26 season officially tips off Monday, Nov. 3 as St. Thomas travels to face perennial West Coast Conference power Saint Mary's (CA) in Moraga, Calif.
CBS Sports Network will also air four games at the 2025 Summit League Men's Basketball Tournaments. The men's semifinals will air on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. along with the title game at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.
