Kerr tallies tying goal as Krenc records nine saves in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The St. Thomas Men's Soccer team traveled to Wisconsin for a Monday evening match against the Milwaukee Panthers. Down a goal late in the game the Tommies (1-1-2) quickly responded, tallying the equalizer to push a draw with Milwaukee (1-0-2) at Engelmann Stadium.
RECAP
The match between St. Thomas and the Panthers remained scoreless through 72 minutes of play, as Milwaukee tallied the first score of the match late in the second half.
St. Thomas responded quickly, as it took the Tommies just two minutes to tally the equalizer. Captain Sidney Kerr would find the game-tying goal with his first score of the season to turn back the momentum towards the Tommies with 15 minutes to play. With seconds left in the game, St. Thomas had one final opportunity to find the go-ahead goal as Keegan James launched a shot towards the net that ultimately missed the target. Kerr led the Purple two shots on goal in tonight's match.
The Tommies recorded 11 shots during the match, putting three on target as Moritz Krenc totaled career-high nine saves through 90 minutes for St. Thomas at Engelmann Stadium on Monday evening.

• Moritz Krenc recorded career-high nine saves against the Panthers. Krenc's previous career-high was eight saves against UIC on Aug. 27, 2023.
• Sidney Kerr, Simon Klevberg, and Vitus Voitl played all 90 minutes today, and have not missed a minute of the 2024 season with 360 through four contests.
• Kerr's game-tying goal marked his first goal of the season.
