St. Thomas extends radio partnership with 1500 ESPN

1500ESPN and Skor North will house new Tommie centric podcast
ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Learfield's Tommie Sports Properties, announced an expanded partnership with 1500 ESPN, Skor North and the Varsity Network App. Tommie fans will now be able to listen to St. Thomas football, men's basketball and men's hockey in a variety of ways, along with the debut of a new podcast Tommie Sports Weekly.
St. Thomas football, men's basketball and men's hockey games will continue to air on 1500 ESPN, the official radio partner of Tommie Athletics, or 95.4 FM. Games will also stream on the Varsity Network, an app dedicated to providing free college sports content to fans across the country. Powered by LEARFIELD, the Varsity Network is a free app fans can download for instant access to St. Thomas gameday audio streams, specifically for football, men's basketball and men's hockey. Fans can also receive push notifications, reminding them of game start times and upcoming audio broadcasts.
In addition to live games and streaming content, 1500 ESPN will also debut a Tommie-centric podcast through its popular Skor North app. Free to users, the Skor North app is home to some of the top sports podcasts in the nation, including Purple Daily, Minnesota Sports with Mackey and Judd and The Flagrant Howl. Starting in 2024, the app will house Tommie Sports Weekly, hosted by the voice of St. Thomas Athletics Corbu Stathes and Ross Brendel with special guests throughout the season. Fans will also be able to listen to any St. Thomas broadcast through the Skor North app as well.
